11th February, attend the Bollington Initiative Trust committee meeting to obtain agreement that we can turn the old toilet block at the end of Shrigley Road into a low carbon advice centre

5th February, met with Dean Valley Primary School to look at how we can support them with their application for installation of solar thermal panels and photovoltaics on the school roof.
4th February met with Catherine Dishington to discuss the development and pilot of a home eco-audit programme.
4th February, met with the Chair of Bollington Initiative Trusts and Architect Peter Skinner to discuss the retrofit plans for the old toilet block into a low carbon advice centre

2nd February notified that we had been short listed for the Future Friendly Awards
2nd February submitted a proposal for the Tullis Russel 200 year legacy project, comprising of 2 options – the conversion of the toilet block into a low carbon advice centre, and hydropower.

20th October: Presentation by Phil Leigh of Crichton Carbon Centre/Lancaster University on his report on the Micro Hydro Potential of the Bollington Rivers. Hosted by Bollington Civic Society.
